Company Background

Mike Young and Brian Tilbury first worked together in Brian’s accountancy practice in Reading in the early 1970s. Mike went on to work in the Industry and Charity worlds, ending up as Chief Accountant with the National Trust before returning to the profession as a partner in a Surrey practice in 1981.

In 1989 Mike Young formed his own practice and then linked back up with Brian to form Tilbury Young in 1998.

Mike is Managing Director of Tilbury Young Limited, with Brian now acting as a Consultant since his retirement from practice in 2004.
